RE/MAX was established in New Jersey in 1985. The company has experienced growth for every single year of its existence, and now includes more than 190 offices and 109,500 Associates.

In 2002, RE/MAX became the number one real estate organization in New Jersey. With a staggering 22% increase in business over 2001, RE/MAX surpassed both Weichert and Coldwell Banker for the top spot with 31,700 total units (listing and sales transaction sides), as reported in the state’s nine MLS systems. The RE/MAX Region of the Year Award was given to RE/MAX of New Jersey for 2002.

RE/MAX of New Jersey has continued to excel within their marketplace. In 2005, RE/MAX of New Jersey was given the Distinguished Service Award by RE/MAX International. This high honor indicates RE/MAX of New Jersey's special place within the RE/MAX worldwide network.
